The paws of paradox

Some snarls cannot be unraveled

Sometimes a name fits

Jimmy Choos.

Obstacles to autonomy

Right around that corner is a refrigerator filled with food. I know for a fact that there is some ham in there plus some chicken skins. These shelves and drawers are full of treasures, too.

If were totally autonomous, I would just say "gimme" and that would be that. I would be gobbling happily right now.

But no. I can't do what I want. There are "people" standing in the way, imposing their will on me, blocking my path. I know they mean well. But really.

A saying

Boned wisdom for weak teeth

Chipmunk in trouble

I dreamed that a chipmunk raced past me and I chased him right up a tree. I could climb trees without any trouble. My prey panicked and ran out on a branch, leaped to another tree. I followed him just as easily as if we'd been on the ground -- and unlike the ground, he couldn't change direction so easily. I followed him from tree to tree until I finally had him trapped.

His lungs were heaving, expecting the worst. I asked him, "Do you experience climbing the way I do? Or is it something different for you?" Then I woke up.

Cloud thoughts

I was chewing on my bed the other day, and wads of polyester stuffing came out. It looks like clouds. I think of clouds, only close to the ground like fog, and made of plastic instead of water vapor. Don't get hung up on the details, I'm just making an analogy here.
